Based in St. Louis, Missouri, James Giacin has served as the managing director of a local financial firm for nearly 3 years. In this position, he draws on his experience as a principal and director of multiple New York City financial firms. Over the course of his time in these roles, he has demonstrated a consistent ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives designed to better provide investment solutions to insurance company clients. James Giacin’s work with his St. Louis firm has emphasized structured finance and asset management solutions, with achievements including the successful execution of securitizations valued at more than $1 billion.

Mr. Giacin earned his bachelor of arts in economics from St. Lawrence University in 1993. He played hockey for the school and went on to enjoy a successful career as a player and coach, including time on the USA National Hockey Team. Giacin played for and coached several championship teams, and was named to the St. Louis Hockey Hall of Fame in 2019.
